Allow me to add a few. It's time you find another career path if...
So what can you do? What are some actionable steps you can take today to move your life to a better place? Here's a great story from a woman who finally found her calling, and she broke it down step by step.
Step one: Start with Self-Awareness.
Find out who you are, your lifestyle priorities and what gets you out of bed every morning.
Step two: Seek out a mentor.
Find someone in your network who knows your potential and can be your champion. It doesn't have to be someone in the industry you want to work in, but someone who can provide coaching and advice while you uncover your interests.
Step three: Work that network.
Talk to as many people as possible about different career paths. Use LinkedIn to find people in your dream job and ask for an informational meeting. Find out how they got there, and listen to what they have to say.
Step four: Gain real-world experience
Volunteer or intern for organizations to lean more about your dream industry. If you're pressed for time, go to Meetup.com to find niche groups and connect. Find industry events or webinars - another great networking opportunity.
Step five: Get your personal brand out there and apply for jobs
Once you've done your research, go for it.
