Are you getting a raise this year? If you do, it won't be much, according to CNN. As we hear of upticks in our economy, Fed Reserve Chair Janet Yellen cites stagnant wage growth as a red flag for future problems in the labor market.
All of this is frustrating workers who say they'll move on if they don't get a raise. Glassdoor.com found a full 35% of workers will look for a new job if their boss doesn't bump their salary.
Who will walk first? Employees younger than 35 and those making less than 50 g's a year.
How much of a raise do we expect? Half of employees expect a 3 to 5 percent pay hike this year, and the same percentage think that if they quit, they'll find another job within six months to match their experience and salary.
